Friesner Nurseries offers a warm welcome in a safe secure environment in which children grow to become confident able students. Our qualified and experienced staff are available for discussion at the beginning and end of each session. We operate an 'open door' policy inviting parent to come in and discuss their child's progress at a mutually convenient time.

We offer a range of activities to aid children's development academically, physically, socially and creatively. Our large spacious room (over 100 sq. ft.) housing a climbing frame and large play equipment enables children to move freely and keep active especially during adverse weather conditions.

The pre-school classroom prepares children for reception with a wide range of activities and methods being employed to promote the six areas of learning with the Foundation Curriculum. At Friesner Nurseries we introduce children to this room when we feel they are ready, not according to their age.

Our fenced garden area allows us to experience and enjoy outdoor play on a regular basis with access to a variety of small play equipment as well as a slide and tunnel. We encourage children to come well prepared with wellingtons and coats so we may take them out as much as possible.

A two course midday meal is provided, prepared on the premises by staff with Food Hygiene Certificates. Fresh fruit and vegetables are available daily. Special dietary requirements can be catered for. We also provide a morning and afternoon snack for the children.
